- For the ATS check and previewing templates, no. For building a resume and downloading it, yes — building now saves to your account as you write, so a draft can't get lost in a browser tab, and a purchase has to belong to someone. The account itself is free.
- Is anything actually free?
- The ATS check. Unlimited, no account, no email wall — and it is the one thing nobody else in this category gives away. Free is the diagnosis; paid is the cure.
- The PDF used to be free. What happened?
- It was, and it meant we had no product — most people send PDFs, so we were giving away the whole thing and selling a Word file almost nobody asked for. We would rather charge $4.90 once and tell you before you type a word. The price sits in the editor toolbar from the first second; you will never meet a wall you did not see coming.
